Education |
Following his
graduation from Lancaster High School in 1988, Jeff earned a Bachelor
of Science in Business from Indiana University in 1992. Jeff then
received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo College of
Law, Cum Laude, in 1995. In 2004, Jeff completed a LLM, or Master of
Laws In Business, at Capital University Law School.

Experience |
Jeff joined the firm in December,
1999 and has worked primarily in the areas of business and real estate
law. Jeff counsels a wide array of clients engaged in businesses
ranging from sole proprietorships and family owned businesses to large
corporations. Jeff regularly assists clients with issues such as the
formation of their businesses, choice of business entity, contract
preparation and analysis, transactions, and the acquisition and sale
of stock or assets. Jeff also assists clients with residential and
commercial real estate matters including land transactions,
development, and landlord - tenant issues.
Before joining the firm, Jeff practiced law for two years as an
associate at Fuller & Henry Ltd, a large corporate firm in Toledo,
Ohio, where he engaged in commercial litigation. Prior to that, Jeff
served for two years as a federal law clerk for the Honorable John W.
Potter, Senior United States District Judge for the Northern District
of Ohio. |

Jeff is a member of the Ohio State
and Fairfield County Bar Associations.
Jeff is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Lancaster
Fairfield County Chamber of Commerce, where he Chairs the Legislative
Action Committee. Jeff also serves on the Board for Information and
Referral of Fairfield County, and he is the Vice President of the
Fairfield Heritage Trail Association.
In 2006, Jeff completed six years of service on the Review Board for
the United Way of Fairfield County.
