Peter received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from The University of Michigan in 1958. After receiving his Juris Doctorate from Ohio Northern University, With Honors, in 1963, Peter passed both the Ohio and Michigan Bar Exams. In 1974 Peter was inducted into the Willis Society of Ohio Northern University.

 

After over forty years in the active practice of law, Peter has undertaken the role of “Of Counsel” to our firm, and provides consultation in many matters including the areas of Estate Planning and Real Estate.

 

Peter began his practice of law in 1963 with the Battle Creek, Michigan firm of Vandervoort, Cook, Mcfee, Christ, Carpenter & Fisher. In 1973 Peter moved to Lancaster to partner with Kermit and William Sitterley. During his forty years of active practice Peter counseled families and individuals in many areas including Corporate, Family, Estate Planning, and Real Estate Law.

 

Having served as the Past President, Peter remains active on the Fairfield County District Library Board. He has served on the Lancaster Festival Board for 15 years. Peter is a Past President of the local chapter of the American Cancer Society and remains active with his church.
